none of the bees would pose for me (a poem)

none of the bees
would pose for me
and barely would the butterfly

i guess they didn’t
understand my need
and i'm sure they didn't try

they’re earnestly
doing what they do
just wringing the most from spring

bees and flowers
reminded me
the healing power nature brings

I went to a botanical garden at lunch today, Dear Readers. It was a tonic in these troubled times.

My camera hasn’t been out for a walk in a while, and together we enjoyed the break from the coronavirus news.

Taking a break from the news is good for your mental health

Stay home, stay safe, stay sane and stay in touch.
