It’s September 21st, so ba-dee-ya, y’all, and Happy Earth, Wind and Fire Day! They are on the list of tiny things that make me immediately (and ridiculously) happy:
- a purring cat
- the smell of rain, just-baked bread or coffee
- the opening credits of the Mary Tyler Moore Show (the Dick Van Dyke Show, too)
- blooms of any kind
- laughter
- high school marching bands
- the pop of a champagne cork
- beeswax candles burning
- the Earth, Wind and Fire song, September
