If you’ve been around the Glover Gardens blog over the past couple of weeks, you’ll know that the editorial content has all been about the impending kitchen remodel. I asked you to come on this journey with us, and if you’re still reading, you must have agreed. If you follow the blog for other reasons, like the poetry, musing or recipes, don’t despair, this is a temporary detour. Stick with me!

Packing is Complete and the Dining Room is Stuffed

We’ve finished culling our a big accumulation of redundant tools and dishes and have packed up everything we’re keeping for Glover Gardens Kitchen 2.0. The dining room is our now our temporary kitchen and pantry, along with being the primary storage area for stuff that will go back into the new kitchen, breakfast room, pantry and bar.

Don't look back - time for a kitchen remodel

And while we did have some great times in this rose-colored room as I shared yesterday in this post, I did have to come clean:

White porcelain tile floor, I never loved you!
