Beyond Banana Bread: One of My Recipe Faves

My friends, how can I pass up this prompt from WordPress today: “what’s your favorite recipe”?

But equally, how can I answer it?

I have so many faves… about a gazillion, many of which I’ve shared with you here. Sharing recipes was my original purpose for Glover Gardens.

Check out the Cookbook tab in the menu bar, and you’ll understand my dilemma about picking only one standout among all of my favorites.

But I did make that hard choice, and landed on the Beyond Banana Bread. Beyond is in the title because it goes waaaaaay above and beyond that comfort food fave, the sweet, moist deliciousness of a standard banana bread studded with extra yummy dried fruit and toasted nuts. And spices, and coconut. And love.

Bonus track: my second fave recipe, for the same reasons (family adoration and praise), is what we call “the goat cheese thing”. 😎 This recipe has spread far and wide across several families, and I couldn’t be happier about that.
